Kwara SUBEB Documentation Requirements
Applicants are reminded that their provisional appointment is contingent upon meeting several conditions. These conditions ensure compliance with the board’s regulations and guarantee smooth onboarding. Below are the detailed requirements:
- Each applicant must present a Medical Certificate of Fitness, issued by a certified Government Medical Officer. This certificate will confirm the physical and mental readiness of the applicant to undertake teaching responsibilities.
- Candidates must confirm that they have never been dismissed from the service of any government or government-affiliated institution.
- On reporting for duty, candidates must provide the following: Two recent passport photographs and Originals and photocopies of their credentials, including a birth certificate or Declaration of Age.
- All appointees must register with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) within six months of their appointment. Evidence of this registration will be required to confirm the validity of the appointment.
- Appointees are required to serve within their local government area for a minimum of five years without transfer. This condition is non-negotiable, and a bond will be signed during the documentation process.
The appointment will initially be on a probationary basis for two years. Confirmation of the appointment will be dependent on satisfactory performance and good conduct during this period. Either the board or the employee may terminate the appointment. This requires written notice of one or three months, depending on the applicable grade, or payment of equivalent salaries in lieu of notice.
