Nigeria Police Recruitment Requirements
Applicants for the Nigeria Police Force recruitment must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Must possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
- Must have at least five credits in the WAEC, NECO, or an equivalent examination, including English and Mathematics. Results from exams before 2015 will not be accepted.
- Applicants should be between 18 and 25 years old.
- Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
- Male applicants must be at least 1.67 metres tall, while female applicants should be at least 1.64 metres tall.
- Male applicants should have a chest measurement of at least 86 cm (34 inches).
- Female applicants must not be pregnant at the time of entry.
- Applicants must be free of any criminal record and financial embarrassment.
- A valid email address and phone number are required.
How to Apply for Nigeria Police Recruitment 2025
To apply for Nigeria Police recruitment, interested candidates must visit the official recruitment portal at apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng. On the portal, they will be required to fill out the online application form. After completing the form, applicants will need to upload scanned copies of their SSCE results, Birth Certificates, and Certificates of Origin.
You can only submit one application. Multiple applications from the same person will lead to disqualification.
Make sure to print out the completed online form and the guarantor form, which will be submitted during the physical screening exercise.
After the online registration is complete, applicants will be invited for the physical and credentials screening. This will take place nationwide, and the date will be communicated on the official portal.
