Kwara State Teachers Recruitment 2025/2026 (TESCOM) Application Form Portal

Kwara State government, through Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) is calling on qualified people to apply for 1,800 teaching jobs in Senior Secondary Schools across the state. The aim this recruitment is to provide quality teachers to schools, especially in rural areas where teachers are few.

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has approved TESCOM’s Kwara State teachers recruitment of 1,800 teachers, 100 non-teaching staff, and 200 security guards to ensure schools are safe and well-staffed. The application portal is www.tescom.kw.gov.ng. But don’t rush to the portal yet.

Kwara State Teachers Recruitment 2025/2026

Kwara State TESCOM portal is expected to open in February 2025. The recruitment will focus on teachers for subjects in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Art and Commercial subjects are also included. However, people whose subjects are not listed should not apply.

Kwara State Teachers Recruitment Requirements 2025/2026

Anyone interested in applying must meet these requirements:

• Must be a Kwara
• A Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed), BSc. Ed, B.A. Ed, BSc plus PGDE or NCE. or a degree in the specific subject you want to teach.
• HND holders in the relevant subject with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) may also apply.
• You must have at least 5 O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English, in no more than two sittings.
• You must have teaching qualifications and be registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). Computer skills are an added advantage.
• Applicants should not be older than 35 years as of January 31, 2025.
• You must have your National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate.
• You must be ready to work in any part of the state, including rural areas.
• A government hospital must confirm you are fit for work.
• Applicants must act in a way that reflects the qualities of a teacher and role model.
• Non teaching staff and security guards do not need higher qualifications and TRCN.

How to Apply for Kwara State Teachers Recruitment 2025

Interested candidates who meet all the requirements should isit Kwara TESCOM application portal link https://tescom.kw.gov.ng and apply.

Make sure you have a good and stable Internet connection. Fill out the form online and upload your recent passport photograph, a valid ID card (National ID, Driver’s License, International Passport, or Voter’s Card), academic certificates, and Certificate of origin from your local government.

Print your acknowledgement slip after completing the online form. You will be asked for this slip in all stages of the recruitment process.

Applicants will take a Computer-Based Test (CBT). If you do not meet the requirements, you will not be invited to take the test. After the CBT, successful candidates will be called for an oral interview, document screening, and a practical teaching test (peer teaching).

The cutoff mark for the CBT will determine who qualifies for the interview stage. Only successful candidates will be notified through SMS at every stage. All applicants will also take a drug test. Only those who pass will move to the next stage.

For now, application closing date is unknown. The application process will last only two weeks from the date of the advertisement once it is announced. The deadline is midnight at the end of the second week.
