The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is a para-military organisation and the agency in road traffic administration and safety management in Nigeria. Recently, there has been widespread speculation about the commencement of its 2025 recruitment exercise. However, the FRSC application portal (www.recruitment.frsc.gov.ng) is not yet open.

FRSC Recruitment Requirements 2025

Before applying, ensure you meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants must be Nigerians by birth.
  • Age limit is between 18 and 30 years as of 2025. However, the age limit for medical doctors and articulated vehicle drivers is 35 years.
  • Applicants must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 credits in SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB), including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Possession of a first degree, HND, or double qualifications such as RN & RM, Accident & Emergency Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, and others.
  • NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is mandatory.
  • Applicants must provide a certificate of medical fitness from a recognised government hospital.
  • Candidates must be free from physical disabilities or medical conditions that could hinder their service.
  • Male applicants: Minimum height of 1.68 metres with a chest measurement of at least 0.67 metres.
  • Female applicants: Minimum height of 1.64 metres.
  • Tattoos or body markings are strictly prohibited.
  • Applicants must be of good character, free from financial embarrassment, and must not have any criminal record.
  • Prospective candidates who are pregnant need not apply.
  • Medical and allied professionals must hold current practising licences.
  • Drivers and riders must possess appropriate classes of valid national driver’s licences.
  • Computer literacy and possession of a valid driver’s licence are additional advantages.

How to Apply for FRSC Recruitment

To apply for FRSC, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official recruitment portal: www.recruitment.frsc.gov.ng.
  2. Complete the application form with accurate information.
  3. Use your personal email address and phone number when submitting the application.
  4. Print out your application form after submission. You will need it for screening.

All your academic and professional qualifications (if any) must be declared during your application on the portal. Certificates not submitted during recruitment cannot be presented later on even if you are employed by the FRSC.

Also, do not submit more than once. Once you register, check it carefully because submitting another entry will lead to automatic disqualification. You cannot also submit false documents because, apart from disqualification, you can be prosecuted as well.
