Abia State Teachers Interview and Cut-Off Mark

The Abia State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has announced that the cut-off mark for the 2025 teachers’ recruitment Computer-Based Test (CBT) is 45%. Candidates who meet the cut-off mark will proceed to the oral interview, scheduled from March 31st to April 4th, 2025.

Applicants are advised to check their dashboard for details of their interview batch, date, time, and venue. All shortlisted candidates must come prepared with original and photocopies of their documents. Required documents include a birth certificate or age declaration affidavit, local government area certificate, three passport photographs with a white background, and all academic qualifications from FSLC to Ph.D. if applicable. Other necessary documents include the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate, NYSC discharge or exemption certificate, BVN printout, NIMC card or certificate, and score printout.

Candidates must organise their documents properly—originals should be placed in an office flat file, while photocopies should be stored in a traditional paper file. Plastic files are not allowed.

The interview will take place at the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, located at the New Government Secretariat, Ogurube Layout, Umuahia, Abia State.

For further enquiries or complaints, applicants can call the designated helplines, which are available from 8 AM to 4 PM.
