Nigerian Air Force Recruitment Requirements 2025

To be eligible for the Nigerian Air Force recruitment, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants must be of Nigerian origin by birth.
  • Male applicants must not be less than 1.66m tall, while female applicants must not be less than 1.63m tall.
  • Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
  • Applicants must not have any previous criminal convictions by a court of law.
  • Applicants must be between 20 and 30 years old. This means candidates born before 27th September 1995 are not eligible. There are exceptions for medical consultants, who can be between 25 and 40 years of age (born before 27th September 1985 are not eligible). Serving military personnel are not eligible if they are above 30 years old (born before 27th September 1995).
  • Applicants must possess at least a Second Class Upper Division degree or an Upper Credit for HND holders (depending on the role).
  • Applicants must have credit in English Language and Mathematics, along with three additional credits in subjects related to their course of study.
  • Applicants with computer skills will have an added advantage during the recruitment process.
  • Applicants must possess an NYSC Discharge Certificate or a Letter of Exemption from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the time of application (depending on the role).
  • Applicants for professional positions must possess certificates of full registration with their respective statutory professional bodies in Nigeria, where applicable.

How to Apply for Nigerian Air Force Recruitment

To apply for the Nigerian Air Force DSSC recruitment, interested and qualified applicants must apply online through the official NAF recruitment portal at www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng. The application process is free of charge, and applicants are strongly advised to fill out the application form carefully, as multiple applications will lead to disqualification.

After completing the online application, successful applicants must print out their their Acknowledgment Slip, Local Government Area Attestation Form, Parent/Guardian Consent Form, and Attestation of Good Character Form. Attach one passport photograph to it.

Your LGA attestation form must be signed by a Military or Police Officer from the same state as you. The person must not be below the rank of Wing Commander or equivalent in the Nigerian Army or Navy, Assistant Commissioner of Police and above, Local Government Chairman/Secretary, Magistrate, or the Principal of the Secondary School attended by the applicant.

Note that these forms will not be generated for invalid applications. Once submitted, the online application cannot be corrected. Therefore, applicants should carefully review their application before submission. Any multiple applications will lead to automatic disqualification.

Nigerian Air Force Closing Date 2025

There is no closing date for the Nigerian Air Force portal at the moment since the portal is closed. The previous online registration for the recruitment exercise closed on 26th November 2024. Applicants must make sure they complete their application before the closing date.

After the application process, successful applicants will be informed about the date and venue for the Zonal Aptitude Test. The printed documents will be your passport photograph and the attesting officer’s signature on the attestation forms. The attesting officer must authenticate the applicant’s passport photograph.
